TQC was established in 1985 and currently employs over 35 full
time staff. Our multi-disciplinary project teams supply bespoke
engineering solutions to a range of industries including automotive,
electrical, pharmaceutical and food. The machines produced utilise
a wide range of electromechanical devices, instrumentation and sensor
technologies.
The positions
below are for full time employment, to start as soon as possible
at our site in Nottingham.

Project
Engineer - Mechanical Engineering
the
role
We require an innovative
Project Engineer who is capable of multitasking over a wide range
of engineering disciplines. This position is to join a team of engineers
designing solutions for industrial automation, test equipment and
mechanical handling.
The successful applicant
should be qualified to HND or degree level and will have the opportunity
to develop their ability to work on and execute projects from the
initial design stage, through manufacturing and test, to on site
commissioning and support.
We operate a fully
integrated IT network and would expect applicants to be familiar
with word processing, spreadsheets and database packages. 3D CAD
experience would be an advantage.

Design
Engineer - Mechanical Engineering
the
role
We require an innovative
Design Engineer who is looking for a new challenge.
The candidate must
be capable of multitasking over a wide range of engineering disciplines
with design experience of industrial equipment essential.
This position is to
join a team of engineers designing solutions for industrial automation,
test equipment and mechanical handling.
The successful applicant
is likely to have some academic mechanical engineering qualification
and will have the opportunity to develop their ability to work on
and execute projects from the initial design stage, through manufacturing
and test, to on site commissioning and support.
We operate a fully
integrated IT network and would expect applicants to be familiar
with word processing, spreadsheets and database packages. SolidWorks
3D CAD experience would be an advantage.

Technicians
- Mechanical Engineering
the
role
We require Two Technicians to join a team of skilled engineers involved
in the manufacture, assembly, test and installation of industrial
equipment.
The successful candidates
will possess experience of using lathes, milling machines etc, and
an understanding of, and the ability to work with the relevant Health
& Safety legislation. Reading and understanding engineering
drawings and schematics and using measuring equipment is vital with
the candidate required to manufacture and assembly to issued documentation.
There will be a varied
level of work carried out and the candidate must be able to work
with minimum supervision. Site visit attendance will be required
and the candidate must be willing to attend customer site to service
equipment and diagnose faults.
Experience on CNC
machines and forklift driving are desirable but not essential as
training can be given.

Software
Engineer 
the
role
We
require a proven Software Engineer who is looking for a new challenge.
The
successful candidate will possess experience of software design,
set-up and debugging of PLC and PC controlled assembly and test
equipment. Liaison with third parties and the integration of standalone
systems such as vision and laser systems is also a key requirement
that needs to be handled.
There
may be the need to work at customer sites for both commissioning
and support for any issues that arise.
Experience
of the leading PLC systems including Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen
Bradley and Omron. PC controlled systems using Labview or Delphi
would be an advantage.
We

Graduate
Engineer for 3 Year EU Funded Project 
the
role
We
require a Graduate Engineer to lead the TQC involvement in an EU
funded Project. The role will include extensive travel across Europe
as the project has a number of leading companies as Partners.
The
successful candidate must be able to work under their own initiative
and as part of a consortium that involves personnel from various
countries, and industries.
The
Project is based around the future of assembly systems and developing
configurable solutions.
The
Project will run for 3 years with the opportunity for the correct
candidate moving to an alternative position with TQC afterwards.
